The 35th Annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts, live music, family activities, and much more. The festival takes place at Francis Field, Friday – Sunday, March 4 – 6, 2016.
St. Augustine’s St. Patrick Day Parade is the ONLY St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Northeast Florida. The Parade is an annual celebration of St. Augustine’s Celtic heritage and the Emerald Isle’s most revered saint. With over 800 participants and thousands of spectators, lads and lasses converge upon the Ancient City each year doning their tartans and green attire.
The 21st Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival celebrates delicious barbecue, music and good times with live entertainment and local chefs competing for the best BBQ. This festival includes great live music throughout the weekend, people’s BBQ choice awards, a kids zone, mechanical bull, an array of vendors, and much more.

THE PLAYERS Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach combines the best field in golf with the world-class venue of THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The tournament takes place from May 10 to 15, 2016. Visitors are welcome to attend each day of the championship including the practice rounds.

A celebration of the all-American burger, the festivities will include live music, best burger contests, arts and crafts, a kids zone, more than 75 exhibitors and food vendors from all over the southeast, and, of course, burgers and more burgers! This event promises to be a great addition to St. Augustine's roster of spring festivals.
Ten of the areas top chefs will compete in two teams, Team Island and Team Mainland. Diners can indulge in four courses, sampling eight dishes in total, all of which will be prepared by the dueling teams and paired with wine. Guests will judge each course, picking one of the two dishes per course as their favorite. The ballots are then totalled to determine a winner, and in the event of a tie, there will be an invited panel of judges serving as an arbiter.
Conducted by the Historic Florida Militia, the re-enactment provides an up-close look at what it was like for St. Augustine residents to defend their city against overwhelming odds. Join us in re-enacting Drakes raid in Old Town San Agustín, the site of the original attack. The reenactment of the sacking and burning of the town will commence Saturday evening at 7:00PM in the old city and plaza.

St. Augustines July 4th celebration by the Castillo de San Marcos includes a live music concert and a spectacular fireworks display over the historic bayfront. Fireworks Over the Matanzas is one of the biggest and best fireworks displays on the East Coast, featuring 5,000 individual shells exploding as high as 2,000 feet and as low as 100 feet.
The world’s largest archaeological find, a trove of 101 ancient dugout canoes near Gainesville, Florida, inspired this free exhibit at St. Augustine’s Government House. The exhibit features American dugouts from ancient times to the present, and illustrates ways they have affected life and travel throughout the Americas, from Florida to the Amazon and the Pacific.
Rangers and volunteers demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the colonial Spanish soldier of 1740s St. Augustine at the Castillo de San Marcos. This event is weekly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and presented several times during the day on the NorthEast Gun Deck.
On this Ghost and Gravestones Night Tour through St. Augustine, Florida you will take a guided night tour on a trolley that will take you to sights such as an Indian burial ground, an old jail, and many other locations said to be haunted.
St. Augustine is the oldest continuously-occupied European settlement in the continental United States. Volunteers will reenact the landing of Menéndez and his crew at the original site of the founding of the Noble and Loyal City on September 8, 1565.
